Henriëtte Wentholt

After graduating in Psychology in the Netherlands, Europe, Henriëtte Wentholt has been living and working on 4 continents over the last past 18 years.
In Brazil she has been working at two NGOs with Brazilians in São Paulo’s favelas. These NGOs provided daily education for children as well as various services for their families.
In Guang Dong Province, in the southern part of China, Henriëtte has been working in a Chinese state owned orphanage, where she was responsible for the coordination of an activity center for the most needy orphans.
In 1998 she returned with her family to the Netherlands carrying a backpack packed with cross-cultural experiences. This has given her tremendous exposure at all levels and presented her with challenges and problems that were infinite source of frustration, delays as well as joy and celebrations.  Upon returning these exposures created awareness to design and deliver cross-cultural trainings and coaching for a number of international companies as well as not for profit organizations.

Her most recent experience abroad (2008-2011) was in the Greater New York area, in the United States, where she joined a group called ‘Lives in Transition’, which was started by several community members in Rye, NY, in response to the economic downturn. The volunteer group provides evening and daytime programs designed for people experiencing career transition, including support, networking opportunities, and information on strategies for finding new or different employment. She designed and delivered evening programs as well as daytime coach groups. Moreover she has been working with a number of participants during coaching. In the summer of 2011 she returned to the Netherlands, fully committed to dedicate her career to working with internationals in a cross-cultural context in three main areas:

In working with her clients Henriëtte’s personal her psychological background supports experience, her certification in coaching (Coach Training Institute) and specialization in cross cultural coaching as well as Presence –Based Coaching , all of which are accredited by the ICF (International Coach Federation). In her work she is always listening for possibilities in how to connect different cultures in a mutual meeting space and in doing so leveraging their personal experience.

Henriëtte is fluent in Dutch, English and Portuguese (Brazilian)
